POSITION:

Windows Systems Administrator – Intermediate

EDUCATION MANDATORY:

1.   University degree at the Bachelor level in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer or Software or Electrical); and

2.   a minimum three (3) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Windows Systems Administrator as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

OR

3.   University degree at the Bachelor level in Science, Engineering (other than listed in 1), Mathematics; and

4.   a minimum of four (4) years in the last eight (8) years fulfilling the role of a Windows Systems Administrator as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

OR

5.   Community College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology;

6.   and a minimum three (3) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Windows Systems Administrator as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

OR

7.   A minimum of six (6) years in the last ten (10) years fulfilling the role of a Windows Systems Administrator as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE:

a.  Experience in Windows performance tuning, in
     a network environment.

b.  Experience in multiple application integration
     on a single Windows server.

c.  Experience in creating and administering
     Windows network file systems in a network
     environment.

d.  Experience with administering Windows
     network storage systems in a network
     environment

e.  Experience in applying Windows IT security in
     a network environment. Must include one of
     the following: hardening windows operating
     systems or administration of Firewall or
     IDS Systems.

f.   Experience in Windows administration in a
     network environment.
