Database Developer – Intermediate

1.   University degree at the Bachelor level in Computer Science, Engineering (Systems, Software, Electrical); and

2.   a minimum of three (3) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Database Developer as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

3.   University degree at the Bachelor level in Science, Engineering (other than listed in 1), Mathematics; and

4.   a minimum of four (4) years in the last eight (8) years fulfilling the role of a Database Developer as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

5.   Community College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology; and

6.   a minimum of three (3) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Database Developer as defined in at least three (3) of the mandatory experience paragraphs detailed herein;

    a.   Experience in logical database design and modeling.

    b.   Experience in performing physical database design
          and implementation in at least one or more of the
          following: Oracle or Sybase or Objectivity or
          Gemstone or DB2 or Retrievalware.

    c.  Experience in designing and developing database
         related software for n-tier architecture.

    d.  Experience optimizing the physical database design of
         a production database to increase performance.

    e.  Experience in applying IT security in a production
         database environment.
