1.   University degree at the Bachelor level in Science or Computer Science or Mathematics or Communications or Journalism or Business Administration or Public Administration; and

2.   a minimum four (4) years in the last eight (8) years were fulfilling the role of a Technical Writer as defined in at least five (5) of the mandatory experience detailed herein;

OR

3.   Community College Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science or Engineering Technology or Business Administration or Pubic Administration or Communications; and

4.   a minimum five (5) years in the last nine (9) years were fulfilling the role of a Technical Writer as defined in at least five (5) of the mandatory experience detailed herein;

OR

5.   A minimum of six (6) years in the last ten (10) years fulfilling the role of a Technical Writer as defined in at least five (5) of the mandatory experience detailed herein;
 

    a.  Experience in writing of user manuals for Information
         Technology Systems. Must indicate the approximate
         number of users that the documentation was used by
         and available to

    b.  Maintenance of user manuals for Information Technology
         Systems based upon user feedback and or system
         changes.

    c.  Experience in writing and creation of technical manuals
         for Information technology Systems. Must indicate the
         approximate number of users of the technical manuals.

    d.  Maintenance of technical manuals for Information
         Technology Systems upon technical user feedback
         and system changes.

    e.  Experience in creating and establishing and or
         implementing technical documentation standards

    f.   Experience gathering information concerning Information
        Technology system features and capabilities from
        software development team

    g.  Experience in leading a team of technical writers
         in creating documentation for IT systems.
